Song Hae, a living testament to our popular culture, has passed away at the age of 95.

Broadcaster Song Hae was the head of the KBS longevity program 'National Singing Contest'.

However, this year alone, he was hospitalized twice due to health problems in January and May, and in March, he was also confirmed with Corona 19.

He hasn't even been able to attend on-site recordings, which he resumed on the last 5 days in over two years.

He was 61 years old, and since May 1988, he's been the MC for 'The National Song Show' and has been running the show for 34 years.

After 2010, he was unable to participate in the broadcast several times due to accumulated fatigue and weakened physical strength, but he met the audience and viewers every week with 'Sunday Man'.

[The late Song Hae (2014, SBS Healing Camp): I got a lot of comfort while bragging about this song.

Because that person was screaming like that, but there were also people who cried a lot.

Hug me.]

Last April, 95-year-old active duty, he was also listed in the Guinness World Records as 'the oldest TV music contest host'.

Born in Jaeryung, Hwanghae Province, the deceased began his broadcasting career as a singer after he fled South Korea during the Korean War.

[Go Songhae: My hometown is Jaeryung, Hwanghae Province.] My

dream was also my hometown.

[The late Songhae (2014, SBS Healing Camp): We should build a fuss in that field and have a singing show in our hometown.

That is my wish.]

That dream did not come true, but I have now entered eternal rest while remaining as the oldest MC of the longest-running program, 'eternal active duty'.
