The American giant has notably redesigned the lock screen.

Programmable lock screens

Styles have been added.

It will be possible to change the colors of the image and of the elements arranged on the screen, including the time.

Another novelty is the arrival of "Widgets" which were present on the home screens of iOS 14. You can also program different lock screens, depending on the time of day, activities and professional or personal universes.

Notifications are added at the bottom of the screen.

Navigation between notifications is possible without the lock screen disappearing.

The Do Not Disturb feature can now be applied to certain apps as needed.

Messages has also evolved with this new version of iOS.

The application signed Apple highlights voice messages.

A more comprehensive Photos app

The company has also revised the Photos application by facilitating the clipping of photos or allowing the sending of a photo by separating the subject from its background in a few seconds.

Regarding the Wallet application, the Cupertino company (United States) insisted on Apple Pay.

It will now be possible to split the payment in 4 times and 6 weeks maximum.

For the most impatient, a beta version of iOS 16 will be available this June.

However, it is not guaranteed to be bug-free.
