Small business owners who have suffered damage due to COVID-19 quarantine measures can apply for loss compensation from today (1st) regardless of odd or odd digits at the end of the business registration number.

On the first day and the second day of the application for loss compensation, the government sent out notice messages to 3.23 million out of 3.48 million companies eligible for expedited payment on the 30th and 31st of last month and started paying them.

For the first two days, an odd-even system was implemented to prevent traffic congestion on websites applying for loss compensation, and from today on, you can apply regardless of number.

For 250,000 places where one person manages multiple businesses, you can apply by following the guidance message sent out from tomorrow, one day later.

Confirmation payments will start from the 13th for 230,000 companies, including businesses that require separate verification, such as joint representative operation, and medium-sized enterprises with annual sales of 5 billion won or less.

Those eligible for payment can apply for the loss compensation website (Small Business Loss Compensation Fund.kr) regardless of weekends or public holidays, as long as they are eligible to apply.

The government pays a minimum of 6 million won to a maximum of 10 million won per company in consideration of the sales volume and rate of decline.

In principle, compensation for loss is paid on the day of application and paid 6 times a day.

If you apply by 7pm, the funds will be deposited on the same day, and if you apply between 7pm and midnight, you will receive it at 3am the next day.

By 6 pm yesterday, 2.71 million out of 3.23 million applicants applied, and 2.63 million received a total of 16.249 trillion won.

The application rate is 83.9% and the payout rate is 81.4%.
