According to the court today (31st), Detective 5 of the Seoul Eastern District Court (Judge Jang Min-kyung) sentenced a woman in her 40s to 2 years and 6 months in prison for trespassing and special assault.

Person A is accused of breaking into the house of her ex-lover B in Songpa-gu, Seoul last November by calling a key repairman.

According to the indictment, Mr. A went to the house of his ex-lover B to take his luggage, but when the door lock password was changed and the door did not open, he used a blunt tool to damage the door handle and when it did not open, he called a key repairman and committed a crime.

The couple, who were lovers two days before the crime, broke up after a week of dating due to Mr. A's violent behavior, and the day after the breakup, Mr. B reported Mr. A to the police for theft of a vehicle.

In addition, Mr. A is also charged with assaulting a pub owner, housekeeper, taxi driver, etc.

The court pointed out that "Mr. A has a history of being punished multiple times for the same crime, and just three months after her release, she committed her crimes again."

She further explained the reason for her sentencing, saying, "She has repeatedly committed other assaults, obstruction of the execution of official duties, etc., and her crimes are of poor quality and she has not been able to reach an agreement with her victims."
