The court sentenced a 30-year-old man who murdered his 20-year-old friend with a knife while he was arguing over religious issues.

According to the legal community today (31st), the 11th Criminal Division of the Daegu District Court (Chief Judge Lee Sang-oh) sentenced A (38), charged with murder, to 15 years in prison and ordered the installation of a location tracking electronic device for 10 years.

Person A was charged with stabbing and killing Mr. B (46), whom he had known for 20 years, in Suseong-gu, Daegu at 2 am in December last year.

As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that he was drinking with B while arguing over religious issues, and in an outrageous murder he killed Mr. B.

Immediately after his crime, Mr. A voluntarily reported the crime to 112, and called his mother and sister to inform them of the fact.

Person A had previously been punished with a history of violence-related crimes 6 times, sentenced to imprisonment once, and probation of imprisonment twice.

In the end, Mr. A, who was brought to the court, claimed, "I admit to wielding a weapon (to Mr. B), but I was drunk at the time and lacked the ability to distinguish things, and I committed the crime to defend Mr. B's preemptive attack."

In response, the court said, "It seems that Mr. A is showing an attitude of repentance and repentance for his mistake and committed the crime accidentally while under the influence of alcohol."

However, he said, "If you look at the wounds around B's face and neck, it seems that there was an active attack. I did not accept the claim of mental and physical loss, mental and physical weakness.

In addition, "the accused murdered the victim in a brutal way, such as stabbing a deadly part several times with a knife," he said. The reason for the sentencing was summarized by the bereaved family and acquaintances pleading for severe punishment."
