A 40-year-old man who damaged a city gas pipeline and released gas was sentenced to probation in prison after a conflict with the house upstairs over the noise issue between floors.



The 11th Criminal Division of the Daegu District Court (Chief Judge Lee Sang-oh) announced today (31st) that 48-year-old A, who was charged with gas release, was sentenced to 10 months in prison and 2 years of probation and ordered 80 hours of community service.

On December 21, last year, at around 7 pm, Mr. A was charged with threatening the life and body of the residents of the building and causing property damage by stabbing a city gas rubber nozzle with an open gas valve at his house with a knife to release gas. passed over. 



Mr. A went to the house upstairs after drinking around 6pm that evening, but when there was no answer, he got angry and was investigated for committing such a crime.

It is known that he had been arguing with the resident upstairs several times over the noise issue and had accumulated complaints. 



The court said, "It is highly likely to be criticized because it is an act that can inflict personal and property damage on the neighbors. We have taken into account the agreement with the building owner and neighboring residents,” he said.
