• Advance Everything you need to know before watching the new season of 'Stranger Things'

  • List of 6 high-voltage erotic series for a 'hot' night

There are

series that not everyone talks about

and that are very worthwhile.

Here are six recommendations on platforms such as

Apple TV +, Movistar Plus +, HBO Max, Netflix, Filmin or Amazon Prime Video.

OPERATION ECSTASY (UNDERCOVER) (Netflix)

From Belgium

comes a series in which the Spaniard Rubén Ochandiano participates, giving life to a link with a group of drug traffickers.

In this production, as can be deduced from the title,

drugs and those who traffic with them make up a very interesting thriller

in which we discover sinister traffickers, infiltrated police officers and countless secondary characters.

It has been

a success in half of Europe

and here many have discovered that it lives up to other great stories starring gangsters.

HOW TO GET INTO A GARDEN (HBO Max)

Olivia Colman

(Oscar winner for

The Favourite

) and

David Thewlis

(

Harry Potter

saga ) are two English stars who star in this

four-part miniseries based on real events.

A proposal that is eagerly devoured and in which the story begins with the discovery of

two corpses in the garden

of a house.

Its owners are

a very reserved marriage

of which little by little, generating all kinds of unknowns, we learn details of their strange and reserved life as a couple.

THE AFTERPARTY (Apple TV+)

Part comedy,

part Hercule Poirot thriller, this series is a

pleasant surprise

.

When a rich and famous young man dies in the middle of a party with former classmates, all the attendees become suspects.

What makes

The Afterparty

different is that

each of its nine chapters is counting on a different genre

, taking advantage of the point of view of each of the possible culprits.

Christopher Miller, its creator,

already gave a good example of mixing genres with

Breakers in class

and

The LEGO Movie

.

There will be a second season.

AS WE SEE IT (Amazon Prime Video)

A

brave series

that, almost certainly, will change the look of many people.

This American production is the remake of the Israeli series

On the Spectrum

.

And what is it about?

Well, nothing less than the adventures of

a group of boys with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

who live together in a sheltered apartment and have a caregiver who helps them in the face of any difficulty.

And watch out because there are many... Behind this series we find a creator like Jason Katims (

Roswell

,

Friday Night Lights

).

Amazon Prime Video subscription is available here.

THE NEWSREADER (Filmin)

Anna Torv, the protagonist of

Fringe

(if you haven't seen her, you should do so soon) is the star of a

series about journalists that comes from Australia.

Torv plays Helen, a TV presenter who enjoys prestige and keeps more than one 'corpse' in her closet.

The big change comes as a result of the arrival at the newsroom of

Dale Jennings

(Sam Reid), a young man hungry for news with whom he will have to

cover news such as the explosion of the Challenger shuttle, the spread of AIDS or the legacy of Halley's comet.

And so far we can read...

SILENT WITNESS (Movistar Plus+)

Any British or lover of English series knows well that we are facing a proposal that is a

guarantee of how to have a good (and entertaining) time in front of television.

Its 24 seasons broadcast to date are the best cover letter for

a police thriller in which each case lasts for two chapters.

In all of them, a very CSI

-style forensic team

must figure out who has committed a murder.

To highlight the

great role of Emilia Fox

(

The Pianist

) as Dr. Nikki Alexander.
