Former Captain Lee Geun, who joined a foreign volunteer unit in Ukraine, has returned to Korea.
Mr. Lee arrived at Incheon International Airport around 7:30 am today (27th).
It is known that three months after leaving for Ukraine in March, Lee was injured on the battlefield and returned to Korea for treatment.
Lee is currently charged with violating the passport law and is awaiting investigation by the police.
The police conducted an interview after confirming the condition of Lee's injuries when he entered the country.
Regarding the investigation into Mr. Lee, the police said that they would immediately proceed with a departure ban procedure and schedule an investigation in consideration of the progress of treatment and health.
