A man in his 20s who downloaded more than 600 pieces of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents shared through the nth room of Telegram has been acquitted.

The Ulsan District Court acquitted Mr. A in his 20s, who was handed over to trial for violating the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth.

In February of last year, A was handed over to trial on charges of downloading and storing 657 photos and videos of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents through room n.

In the course of the trial, Mr. A admitted to possessing pornography, but claimed that she had never accessed room n and did not know that it was child and adolescent sexual exploitation.

The court decided that the video file names that Mr. A received were all alphabetic and numeric, so he could not even know the contents of the video.

In addition, since some of the sexual exploitation material possessed by Mr. A was shared on other sites, I saw that it cannot be concluded that she accessed the nth room.

The court said, 'The accused downloaded a large number of files at one time, but it seems that he did not check each file.'
