Early voting for the June 1 local election started at 6 am a little while ago.

Advance voting will be held until tomorrow (28th).

Let's connect reporters who are out of the polling place.

Reporter Min-Jun Kim, it seems that the preparations for the pre-voting went well without any problems. Please tell us about the current situation.

Yes, I am now at the early voting booth at the Sangam-dong Community Service Center in Seoul.

The time is just past 6 in the morning, but there are not many citizens who visit the polling place because it is still early.

Occasionally, a few people come and you will see election officials busy preparing for early voting.

Early voting is held for two days today and tomorrow from 6 am to 6 pm. You can vote at any of the 3,551 polling places installed across the country, including this one, regardless of your address.

You can search for the location of the advance polling place on the website of the National Election Commission or the smartphone app 'Election Information'.

ID with your photo, such as a resident registration card, passport, or driver's license, is required.

If it is difficult to vote on the day of the local election, please exercise your precious votes by voting today and tomorrow.
