It was not until around 6:50 a.m. that a minister-counsellor from the Qatari embassy appeared in front of the gate and asked the police to intervene.

Meanwhile, the attacker continues to kick the victim.

At 7:04 a.m., while waiting for written authorization, the police informed the firefighters.

A minute later, the document is finally drafted by the ambassador's representative.

Pending the return of their hierarchy, the police are the target of death threats from the attacker.

According to their version, this man tells them: "If you come back, you won't come out alive".

Adding: “It is to avenge my brothers […], I will not come out of here alive”.

Still from inside the embassy, ​​the man repeatedly shouted "Allahu Akbar" and allegedly told them that they were not allowed to enter because it was an embassy.

At 7:15 a.m., police reinforcements arrived while the staff on site were still waiting for the order to intervene because of the difficulty in transmitting the written document.

Finally, it was at 7:28 a.m. that they got the green light from the Public Order and Traffic Directorate (DOPC) staff to enter the Qatari embassy, ​​53 minutes later. their arrival.

Two minutes later, the suspect is arrested, lying face down on the ground after the injunctions of the police.

In more or less coherent remarks, he claims the diplomatic immunity of Qatar, while being unable to decline in an intelligible way his identity.

An identity card is found on him, a certain Ilies S., 38 years old.

He tested positive for cocaine.

An investigation was opened by the Paris prosecutor's office for intentional homicide, entrusted to the criminal brigade of the Paris judicial police.
