The arrest of a drunk driver on the highway
A 30-year-old drunk driving on the highway was caught by a citizen report.
Today (21st) around 2:28 a.m., a 38-year-old drunk driver was arrested at the Cheonan Hodu Rest Area in the direction of Busan on the Gyeongbu Expressway.
The police responded to a citizen's report saying, 'The car in front is going to change and suspects drunk driving.'
The citizen who reported it called the police from the vicinity of the Mokcheon Interchange, followed Mr. A's car for about 6 km to the rest area, and then informed the policeman who arrived at the service area about Mr. A's car.
A's blood alcohol level was measured to be 0.153%, which is the level of driver's license revocation.
