The car of the future will be connected, will run on electricity or hydrogen, but it will above all be sustainable.

To preserve the environment, car manufacturers imagine a car that will be less polluting from its production.

On the occasion of the start of the Change Now summit in Paris, Renault delivered a first glimpse by presenting the future modernized Scénic.

Its particularity: it will eventually be manufactured with 70% recycled materials.

It is a global event around environmental issues that opens with Renault.

The historic manufacturer unveiled its vehicle of the future on Thursday.

While this may seem counter-intuitive, it actually foreshadows future developments in the automotive sector, which is looking for solutions to meet the needs of energy transition by emitting less pollution while driving, but also from the design and manufacture of a car.

This is what Renault wanted to demonstrate by presenting its future Scénic: the demonstration that the circular economy can go even further thanks to innovations.

"For example, we captured black particles from the atmosphere, namely pollution, and we put it in the varnish of the car. Thus, the car is black outside and white inside", explains Luca de Meo, CEO of Renault.

The Italian boss of the brand specifies that it was not a wink of support for the colors of Juventus Turin: "In fact, we did not use any pigment and it is one among dozens of ideas that we found with the designers, the engineers to make the car sustainable", he tells us with a smile.
