Today (17th), an official from the Ministry of Education said, "The research team for the first draft development conducted a study on the 10th by collecting opinions from the field and reflecting the demands of the traditional music industry."



As pointed out by the Korean traditional music community, the results of the first study included the contents of using the expressions related to Korean traditional music in the achievement standards and maintaining the 'Concept System Table' of music in the 2015 curriculum that includes the concept of Korean traditional music.



Previously, in the '2022 revised music and curriculum proposal' released by the Ministry of Education recently, the Korean traditional music industry had a conceptual system chart including 'jangdan', 'three of rhythmic music', 'sigimsae', etc. in the study of the 2022 curriculum. , protested that the standards related to Korean traditional music, such as 'find and publish Korean traditional music used in daily life' were deleted from the achievement standards of the music subject.



He also demanded improvement, saying that if the proposal is finalized and applied at the end of this year, the education of Korean traditional music in the music subject will be drastically reduced from 2025.
