Today (16th) around 9 am, a helicopter crashed near Seonjasan, Dongsan-ri, Geoje-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do.
Three passengers, including the captain, were seriously injured in the accident.
The accident helicopter belongs to a private freight forwarding company and is the same model as the S-61N firefighting helicopter.
Firefighters are working to rescue the injured and transport them to a nearby hospital.
Police and fire departments believe that the helicopter crashed while moving materials for forest road construction and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
