A 63-year-old man followed the flight attendant from the airport to his home at around 8 am on May 10 last year.
He was handed over to trial on charges of chasing him from the Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 Airport Railroad Station to a residential building in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
Person A was confirmed to have said and behaved intimidatingly to the victim, such as saying "let's go to a motel" or "let's go into the house together".
Person A is charged with violating the Misdemeanor Punishment Act and trespassing.
Changwon District Court Judge Lee Ji-hee sentenced A (63) to 1 year in prison, 2 years of probation, and a fine of 50,000 won.
The judge ruled that "the sentence is decided by combining various sentencing factors, such as the fact that the accused was diagnosed with a grade 3 mental disorder due to schizophrenia and is being treated."
