On the 8th, the second day of the death of late actress Kang Su-yeon, a funeral was held at the funeral hall of Samsung Seoul Hospital in Seoul, and official mourning began.



Kim Dong-ho, former director of the Busan International Film Festival, who served as the chairman of the funeral committee, visited the funeral home around 9:30 am.



Kim Funeral Chairman said that even before the funeral was set up, Im Kwon-taek and his wife, director Im Kwon-taek, who gave Kang Su-yeon the Best Actress Award twice, actress Moon So-ri, director Yeon Sang-ho and the movie 'Jeong-i' crew visited the funeral home.



'Jungi', which has not yet been released, is Kang Su-yeon's last work.



As the official condolences began, director Bong Joon-ho, actor Ye Ji-won, and actor Park Jung-ja, etc.



Inside the mortuary, there was a harmony sent by President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol and Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom, and in front of the mortuary and in the hallway, there were also flowers sent by Yun Ho-jung, chairman of the Democratic Party's emergency countermeasures committee, Hwang Hee, Minister of Culture and Sports, actors Ahn Seong-ki, Jeon Do-yeon, and Ma Dong-seok.



Kang Su-yeon, who was receiving hospital treatment in an unconscious state after collapsed from a brain hemorrhage at her home in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul on the 5th, died at the age of 55 around 3 pm on the 7th.
