A large cargo ship seems to be approaching to dock at the pier, and it crashes.

There is a big splash of water, and the facilities such as the coal unloading machine fixed at the pier fall off in shock.

Even so, the cargo ship turns its bow as if nothing happened and moves smoothly.

On the morning of the 21st of last month, an 80,000-ton Maltese coal carrier from Southern Europe was berthing at the pier of the Yeongheung Thermal Power Plant in Incheon.

A Greek captain in his 60s, Mr. A, was on board as the general manager of the carrier, and Mr. Lee, a pilot in his 60s, was berthing.

They were caught by the Coast Guard, who obtained intelligence while staying in Korea without reporting a collision accident.

contact accident from the intelligence community, checked the site with forensics forensics and finally confirmed that the damage was large, and then started the investigation.]

When doing so, the speed is limited to 1 knot, and it was found that the carrier was speeding at 3 knots per hour.

The Coast Guard estimates that the damage caused by the accident is at least 10 billion won.

The cost of recovery is expected to be covered by the insurance purchased by the carrier that caused the accident.

The Coast Guard booked Captain A without detention on charges of negligently destroying ships and violating the Maritime Safety Act, and pilot Lee on charges of violating the Piloting Act.
