Lee Eun-hae and accomplice Jo Hyeon-soo, who are accused of causing the death of her husband, have been brought to trial.

The prosecution handed over Lee Eun-hae and Cho Hyeon-soo to trial today (the 4th), one day before the deadline for arrest.

It has been two years and 11 months since the victim, Mo Yoon, died by drowning in a valley in June 2019.

Prosecutors found that the two had intent to kill, such as forcing Yoon, who can't swim, to dive for 800 million won in life insurance money, and applied the charge of 'murder by act'.

It raised the suspicion of a crime one step higher than murder by negligence that could have been rescued.

In February and May of the same year, two charges of attempted murder were also included in the indictment of eating food mixed with blowfish blood and attempting to kill them by drowning them in a fishing spot.

Prosecutors determined that Lee Eun-hae had been psychologically dominating Yoon, so-called 'gaslighting'.

It is said that he isolated Mr. Yoon, who had been financially exploited since 2011 when he first met him, who was in extreme hardship, and made him unable to refuse or resist his request.

Prosecutors believed that it was because of gaslighting that Yoon, who could not swim, dived in a 4m high valley and put Lee Eun-hae's daughter on his family register, he filed a lawsuit to confirm the invalidation of the adoption in accordance with the will of the victim's family.

New facts about the escape process of Lee Eun-hae and Jo Hyun-soo were also revealed.

Prosecutors explained that they have made a specific plan to escape until the chief prosecutor who summoned them and investigated them moves, and they have also written and kept a press conference criticizing the prosecution's investigation.
