A woman in her 20s accused of hitting the head of a man in his 60s several times with a cell phone on Seoul Subway Line 9 admitted all charges at the first trial.

She further said she wanted to reach an agreement with the victim.

The 8th independent criminal case (Judge Jeon Beom-shik) of the Seoul Southern District Court held the first trial of a woman in her 20s who was charged with special injuries and insults today (4th).

Mr. A's lawyer said that she "acknowledges all of her charges," and that she does not hope for a public trial.

She also said she agrees on whether or not to accept evidence, including videos from the scene.

She answered "yes" to the question of the judge whether it was true that Mr. A, who stood before the court while in custody, admitted all of her charges.

Mr. A's lawyer emphasized that she is working for an agreement and deposit, and she said, "I have communicated the intention of settlement to the victim from the investigation stage, but she is refusing." said.

She also added, "I wish I could have the personal details of the (victim's) attorney in order to make a deposit," she added.

Deposit is a system in which a desired amount of compensation or settlement money is entrusted to the court in civil and criminal cases.

The court responded, "I will check with the victim and see if he is willing to disclose (the victim's lawyer's personal information)."
