The police dramatically found the family of a woman in her 40s who broke up 35 years ago with the Long-Term Missing Child Search Project (Remember Project).

According to the Busanjin Police Station today (3rd), in February, Park Jung-ok (pseudonym · 41) said, "I want to find her family, whom she broke up with her 35 years ago." Registered.

Park spent his childhood in an orphanage after losing his family at the Jeonju Intercity Bus Terminal in Jeonbuk Province in 1987 when he was five years old.

He remembered the fact that he had a younger brother and the names of his parents, but he could not remember his exact date of birth and name.

The Busanjin Police Station's missing team selected Park as a target for the remember project, reviewed various materials, and found 556 people of a similar age, presumed to be Mr. Park.

Afterwards, based on the report of Mr. Park, six people were selected, and an intensive investigation was conducted to find Mr. Park's family.

The police, who commissioned a genetic test for Park's mother, confirmed that the genes of Park and his mother were identical.

The last two days, Mr. Park and his family met after 35 years.

Park hugged his family in tears at the venue where the reunion took place.

“Every birthday, I cried a lot because I missed my family so much,” said Park.

Since 2008, the National Police Agency has been building a disappearance profiling system to facilitate disappearance investigations by converting all missing cases into data.
