At around 8:20 last night, a male taxi driver in his 70s, A, was shot and killed near the Gugi Tunnel in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.



Mr. A was urinating with his car parked on the side of the road at the entrance to the mountain.



The person who shot the gun was Mr. B, a man in his 70s who went on a wild boar hunt.



The accident occurred on the side of the road, about 5 meters from the roadside.



The place where the gun was fired was in a bush about 10 meters away from here.



The accident site is close to the bus stop, so there is not a lot of floating population.

The arrested Mr. B is known to have stated in the police investigation, "I mistook Mr. A for a wild boar and shot him."

However, the police reported that Mr. B did not fulfill his duty of care while hunting and applied for an arrest warrant for negligent manslaughter.
