It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“The devices use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.

This allows you to increase the battery life of products up to 10 years without replacing batteries.

IoT sensors are designed to measure temperature, humidity, illumination, magnetic field.

Information from the sensors enters the mobile application and the monitoring system,” the state corporation noted.

Rostec emphasized that the IoT sensors were developed jointly with the Russian company Tesla Smart.

The new devices are made on the basis of reed switches and differ from the existing analogues in extended sensory and increased durability.

As reported in Rostec, the Ryazan Plant of Metal-Ceramic Instruments (RZMKP, part of the Ruselectronics holding) will be engaged in the manufacture of serial production.

“We see a wide range of applications for new sensors - in warehouses with special storage conditions, in industrial refrigeration equipment, in greenhouses and in smart home systems.

The sensors have a Bluetooth Long Range mode.

This allows you to use them at a distance of more than a kilometer from the Bluetooth station.

Products are compact, easily attached to surfaces and operate in the industrial range from -55 to +85 degrees Celsius.

To date, the first prototypes have already been created, ”said Arkady Orlov, General Director of the RZMKP.

Earlier it was reported that Russian engineers have created a device for communicating with deaf-blind people with speech impairments.
