police urgently arrested the younger brother of a former deputy head of Woori Bank, who was accused of embezzling money from Woori Bank's company, at around 9:30 pm on the 28th.

During the investigation of Mr. Jeon, who was arrested yesterday, he confirmed the charges of accomplices.

It is known that Jeon made a statement in the police investigation to the effect that some of his embezzlement of 61.4 billion won was invested in derivatives and some in his brother's business, all of which were at a loss.

The younger brother business that Jeon invested in is a New Zealand golf course resort development project.

Jeon also stated that 50 billion won of his embezzlement was spent by him and 10 billion won by his younger brother.

Police are also known to have secured records of money transferred from the former's account to his brother's account.

It was found that Jeon committed his embezzlement by transferring 32.1 billion won of his embezzlement 61.4 billion won to his check and 29.3 billion won to his own account.

The police are tracking the flow of money without ruling out the possibility that Chun may have dispersed or hidden the stolen money in kind.

The police, who applied for an arrest warrant for Jeon, plan to apply for a warrant soon as soon as the investigation is complete.

The police also summoned officials from the Corporate Improvement Department of Woori Bank's headquarters, where Jeon worked, one after another as witnesses for investigation.

The Financial Supervisory Service also began a fact-finding investigation to initiate supervision of Anjin Accounting Firm, which was in charge of auditing Woori Bank during the embezzlement incident.
