A police officer has been charged with shooting a taxi driver who was urinating in the wild, mistaken for a wild boar.
The Seoul Western Police Station has booked and is investigating Mr. A, a man in his 70s, on charges of manslaughter.
At around 8 pm this evening, Mr. A, a taxi driver in his 70s, who was urinating while parked in a hill near the Gugi Tunnel in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, mistook Mr. B, in his 70s, for a wild boar and shot three shotguns.
The taxi driver was shot in his right arm and abdomen and is said to be being treated in hospital.
The area is said to be a place where wild boars frequently appear at the foot of Mt.
