"I feel disgusted. Get rid of it now."

Dozens of mannequins covered in red paint appeared in a multi-family house in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, and the neighborhood once turned upside down.

According to the police on the 28th, the Seoul Geumcheon Police Station received a report on the afternoon of the 19th that dozens of disgusting mannequins were installed in the hallways and railings of the three-story multi-family housing building in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu.

Residents at the time of the report are known to have complained of anxiety, saying, "I feel disgusted by painting red paint on mannequins like people bleed."

As a result of the police investigation, the person who installed the mannequins was none other than the owner of a multi-family house.

It was confirmed that the owner of the building installed 20 red-painted mannequins on the first and second floors of the house as a protest when he had a conflict with neighbors due to noise during the reconstruction.

Earlier, on the 20th, a photo was spread online with the title 'Geumcheon-gu Mannequin Terror'.

In the published photo, dozens of mannequins painted with red paint reminiscent of blood are installed regardless of railings and stairs, posing a threat to residents passing by.

Most were headless, one mannequin hanging from the railing outside, and a mannequin holding an object that looked like a bow.

Netizens who saw this reacted and criticized, such as "Every time residents pass by, it will be creepy", "It's bizarre and terrifying", and "Isn't it a crime to install disgusting installations?"

A police official said, "Since (the mannequin in question) was installed on a private property, charges such as anxiety ancestry and performance obscenity do not apply under the Misdemeanor Punishment Act."

However, as the residents felt fear, the ward office and the police persuaded the building owner to remove all the mannequins voluntarily.
