Two teenagers who entered the gold and silver room pretending to be guests in broad daylight and ran away with precious metals on the shelves were caught by the police.

The stolen money alone amounted to 30 million won.

The Seoul Jongno Police Station announced today (25th) that they arrested two teenagers on charges of stealing money from a gold and silver room (special theft).

They are accused of entering a jewelry store in Jongno-gu, Seoul around 11:30 am on the 14th of this month, pretending to be a customer, and stealing a total of 31.3 million won worth of money, including a 10 million won pure gold necklace placed on a shelf.

After receiving the report, the police arrived and arrested Mr. A, who opened the door while waiting outside the building so that the gang could escape.

B, who stole money and ran away, was arrested on the 22nd after tracking CCTV investigations.

During a police investigation, they stated that "they committed the crime to raise money for entertainment."

Of the 95 money stolen by the gang, 30 were recovered, but the remaining 65 money was sold by Mr. B on the day of the crime, police believe.

On the other hand, it was confirmed that the 30 money recovered was handed over to the Jongno 2-ga district after a citizen picked up what B dropped on the floor while he was fleeing.

The police arrested and sent Mr. A, who helped escape from the scene, and Mr. B received an arrest warrant the day before and continued the investigation.
