The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that they are investigating a man in his 20s on suspicion of destroying dozens of cars parked in the parking lot of an apartment building on Hangang-ro 2-ga, Yongsan-gu, with a sledgehammer.
This man is suspected of damaging 26 expensive vehicles, including foreign sports cars, which were parked in an underground parking lot around 7:30 am today (24th) with a blunt weapon.
The man in his 20s, known to be a resident of the apartment, was not known to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crime.
Police are currently investigating the exact motive for the crime.
