The Supreme Prosecutor's Office made a clear objection to the arbitration bill of the National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok, which the ruling and opposition parties agreed to accept today (the 22nd), stating that the arbitration bill (completely deprived of the prosecution's investigative authority) is in fact the same as the 'examination and complete inspection' of the Democratic Party of Korea.

In a statement released today, the Supreme Prosecutor's Office said, "In effect, the arbitration plan is only a temporary delay in the implementation of the existing 'examination and overhaul' bill.

The Supreme Prosecutor's Office also criticized, "Although the arbitration plan also brings significant changes to the criminal justice system, there is a serious procedural problem that is being pursued after setting a target deadline without properly discussing the arbitration plan without properly discussing it with the special committee of the National Assembly."

He added, "Until the final passage of the bill, I will do my best to inform the injustice and problems of the bill and to persuade the National Assembly and the people."
