Martial arts player Kim Sang-wook (29), who appeared on the entertainment program 'Steel Troop', was stabbed in front of a martial arts school by a weapon wielded by a former student and taken to the hospital.

Today (21st), the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul arrested a 31-year-old man who was charged with stabbing Kim with a knife (special injury) as a current criminal at 0:51 a.m. that day.

Han is accused of injuring his arms and abdomen by swinging a knife at his coach, Kim, several times at 0:47 in front of 'Timston Gun', a martial arts studio located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu.

It is understood that Kim was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment and returned home after receiving treatment.

It was investigated that Mr. Han had learned martial arts for several months at this dojo last year, and then quit.

In the police investigation, it was found that Mr. Han made a statement to the effect that Mr. Kim ignored him and harassed him under the guise of sparring.

It was confirmed that he was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime.

A police official said, "We plan to review the application for an arrest warrant after investigating various circumstances."
