A man in his 30s, who had taken hundreds of illegal filming of women passing by on the subway, disappeared during the investigation and was caught by the police.



According to the police today (19th), the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's subway police unit arrested and sent a 30-year-old man A on charges of violating the recent Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (photographing using cameras, etc.). 



A is accused of illegally filming hundreds of times in various parts of the Seoul subway for two years and three months. 



A was arrested on charges of illegal filming near Samsung Jungang Station on Seoul Subway Line 9 in June of last year and was investigated without detention by the police. 



However, during the investigation, Mr. A disappeared.



The police confiscated Mr. A's cell phone and demanded attendance, but Mr. A did not respond and went into hiding. 



In the end, the police were issued an arrest warrant and a search and seizure warrant for Mr.



After that, Mr. A, who had been in hiding for about 10 months, was found hiding in his brother's house on the 7th and was arrested by the police.



The police conducted a search and seizure of A's residence and cell phone, and found 140 illegally filmed videos and 311 downloaded illegal videos from A's cell phone.  



A police official said, "(A) was found to have taken illegally using a mobile phone in several subway stations in Seoul as well as Samsung Jungang Station."
