Lee Eun-hae and Jo Hyeon-soo, the suspects in the 'valley murder' case, were arrested two years and ten months after the incident occurred.
The Incheon District Court issued an arrest warrant for them, saying, "There is a risk of fleeing" after conducting a warrant substantive examination for them for 1 hour and 10 minutes from 3:30 pm on the 19th.
Lee is facing charges of attempted murder and attempted violation of the Special Act on the Prevention of Insurance Fraud, including the murder of his husband in Yongso Valley, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do in 2019, along with his ex-boyfriend, Cho.
Previously, Lee and Cho were arrested on the 22nd floor of an officetel near Samsong Station in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 16th, four months after they hid ahead of the second investigation by the prosecution on December 14 last year.
