The allegations were raised that Lee Eun-hae (31) and Jo Hyeon-soo (30), the suspects in the 'Valley Murder Case' tried plastic surgery right after they fled in December of last year.

Yesterday (18th), a media reported that Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho visited a plastic surgery clinic in the metropolitan area in January.

According to the report, at the time, they fled ahead of the second prosecutor's investigation, and although they were wanted by the prosecution, they went to a plastic surgeon for consultation, took a picture of their face, and received a plastic surgery estimate.

Some speculate that Lee and Cho were trying to change their appearance and start a different life.

However, they ended up not having plastic surgery.

Regarding this, the legal circle interpreted that it would have been difficult to cover the cost of plastic surgery because there was not enough money to escape at the time.

Regarding this report, a prosecution official said, "This is the first time I've heard that Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho were trying to get plastic surgery."

Meanwhile, Lee and Cho are accused of killing Lee's husband, Yoon (39 years old at the time of death) in 2019, and disappeared before the prosecution's second investigation in December last year. He was arrested by a joint police investigation team.

Yesterday (18th), the 2nd Detective Division of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Chang-soo) requested an arrest warrant for them on charges of murder, attempted murder, and attempted violation of the Special Act on Prevention of Insurance Fraud.

The Incheon District Court will decide whether to detain him or not after going through a substantive examination of the warrant prior to arrest at a hearing by Judge So Byeong-jin at 3:30 pm on the 19th.
