At a Maeil Dairy Factory in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, a worker in his 30s died after being caught in a conveyor belt.



According to the Pyeongtaek Police Station and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, yesterday (17th) at around 8:40 pm, a 32-year-old man A was caught in an automatic pallet feeder outside the factory at the Pyeongtaek factory of Maeil Dairy.



The machine was connected to the conveyor belt, and it is known that Mr. A was checking it at the time of the accident.



A fire department dispatched to the rescue at the report of his colleague, Mr. A, was taken to the hospital, but eventually died.



The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident and whether safety rules were observed at the scene.



The Ministry of Labor has also ordered the workplace to stop working and is checking for violations of the Serious Accident Punishment Act or the Industrial Safety and Health Act.
