Some of them were arrested 15 hours after confronting the police, threatening to set fire to the building of four residents of a gositel in Incheon who protested the eviction order.

According to the Incheon Namdong Police Station, the police secured two recruits today (19th) at around 5 am, A and B, and two residents of a gositel in Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon.

It is known that they came out of the building at the persuasion of the police crisis negotiation team.

However, the other two residents are still inside the building.

Among them, the police arrested Mr. A as a current offender, and Mr. B was transferred to a nearby hospital.

Yesterday around 1:39 pm, a report was received by 119 that some residents sprayed thinner and tried to set a fire on the 6th floor of an 8-story building in Gansok-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that Mr. A and others were residents of the Goshitel who were on the 4th to 6th floors of the building, and they committed the crime in protest of the order to evict from the building to be demolished due to redevelopment.

They remained in the building when the gositel disappeared and the water and electricity were cut off, but when they received an eviction order again yesterday, they threatened to set fire to the building and confronted the police all night long.

Mr. A and others continued to threaten arson by calling 911 at around 5:11 pm yesterday while confronting the police, saying, "I have a gas cylinder."

The police have dispatched a crisis negotiation team to persuade the rest of the residents for over 17 hours, and the fire department is preparing for fire risks by deploying 32 firefighters and 13 vehicles to the scene.
