Today (14th) around 0:40 a.m. in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a US soldier in his 20s was arrested by the police on charges of damaging a vehicle and several entrances to a house while drunk driving.
This American soldier is said to have had an accident while driving his vehicle after drinking alcohol at a bar in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
It was confirmed that nine parked cars, the entrance to five houses, and parked motorcycles were damaged in the accident.
At the time of the arrest, the blood alcohol level of this US soldier was known to be 0.14%, which is the level of license revocation.
A woman in her 20s who was a passenger at the time of the accident was also confirmed to be intoxicated.
A police spokesperson said, "Currently, we are investigating the exact amount of damage to the property."
