The police, who arrived after receiving a report that they saw Lee Eun-hae (31) and Jo Hyeon-soo (30), the suspects in the 'Valley Murder Case', arrested another wanted person unexpectedly.

Yesterday (12th), according to the Busan Police Agency, a report was received at the Busan Geumjeong Police Station around 7 pm on the 7th that "a man and woman who look like a suspect in the Gapyeong murder case are walking towards a shopping mall in Seo3-dong, Geumjeong-gu, Busan, holding a dog."

Accordingly, the police issued 'Code Zero', which is the highest level of response to emergencies in the work manual, and were dispatched to the scene.

The police, who immediately arrived at the scene, checked a man A and a woman B in their 30s who entered the restaurant, but they were ultimately confirmed not to be suspects in the Gapyeong Valley murder case.

However, during the background check, it was revealed that Mr. A was a wanted person accused of violating the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, and the police arrested Mr. A at the scene.

Police said, "When I fully explained the purpose of the inspection that I could look like Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho at first glance because he was wearing a mask, Mr. A, who had a refusal reaction at the beginning, gave me his resident registration number."

As a citizen's report that 'there is someone who resembles Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho', we have unexpectedly arrested another wanted person.

Police said, "Thanks to the citizens' strong reporting spirit, we were able to arrest the wanted person."

Meanwhile, Mr. Lee, along with his brother-in-law, Mr. Jo, is wanted for the murder of his husband A (age 39 at the time of his death) in Yongso Valley, Gapyeong-gun, on June 30, 2019.

The two escaped while being investigated by the prosecution in December of last year, and their whereabouts have been unknown for four months.

The police and police joint arrest team is narrowing the arrest network after identifying the people around the two people based on the data they have secured.

This is a 'news pick'.
