Debris bounces off an alley in a residential area in Busan with a flash of light.

The explosion shattered the safety cone to prevent parking, and no one was injured, but residents were terrified by the roar and vibration.

[Nearby resident: (sound) was very loud.

I said 'bread'.

I thought it was a gas explosion or a car accident.

On the second floor, they said the bed was a little shaky.]

The police special forces and military explosives disposal team, who responded to the report, found explosives debris such as plastic bottles and receivers installed inside the safety cone.

The alley where explosives are installed is a place frequented by many residents.

At the time of the explosion, the suspect also watched it from the other side of the road.

The suspect, who was arrested at a nearby residence four hours after the crime, was an unemployed 40-year-old man who majored in biochemistry.

[Park Jung-bae/Busan Dongnae Police Station Criminal Division: It is said that he learned how to make explosives through the Internet or YouTube.

And I bought the necessary ingredients online too...

.]

In the police investigation, Mr. A responded by asking why he had made a firecracker, and insisted that he did not commit the crime out of grudge.

The police are investigating the specific motive for the crime and are planning to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr.
