The fuselage of the helicopter S-92 belonging to the Namhae Coast Guard, which crashed in the far sea south of Marado, Jeju on the 8th, was salvaged three days after the accident.



The Jeju Coast Guard said that the fuselage salvage work started around 12:50 p.m. and was successful in an hour.



The Coast Guard explained that work is underway to anchor the salvaged helicopter to a naval warship.



The salvaged helicopter will be loaded onto a naval warship and moved to Busan Dadaepo to investigate the cause of the accident, and it will take about a day to arrive in Busan.



The helicopter crashed after being used to search for the Kyoto No. 1, where a distress report was received three days ago in Taiwan waters.



Three of the four crew members died in the accident, and one rescued person was transported to Jeju for treatment.
