The government said that an additional male body was found in the nearby waters this afternoon, and the identity is being checked.



Family members gathered in a waiting room in Busan said that the deceased was a veteran sailor with over 30 years of experience.

The Coast Guard patrol ship dispatched by the Korean government to help the search arrived at the accident area around 1:10 pm today and joined the search from 2 pm.



A submarine support ship with a diver on board is also scheduled to arrive at the accident area the next night.
