Han Seo-hee, a 27-year-old singer trainee who was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison in the first trial for drug use during the probation period, bowed her head in the appeals court saying "I'm sorry" to the judge.

Mr. Han, who was charged with violating the Narcotics Control Act, said in his final statement at the appeals trial held at the Suwon District Court's Criminal Case Division 3-2 hearing.

When he was sentenced to prison in the first trial in November of last year and arrested in court, Mr. Han protested harshly to the judge at Seongnam Branch, who made the ruling at the time, saying, "I will not run away. Judge, what are you doing now?"

In addition, it is known that he moved to the defendant's waiting room and sweared at him, and it was also known that the audience in a close distance heard it.

On this day, Mr. Han's lawyer said, "The defendant admits to his mistake and deeply regrets the inappropriate attitude he showed at the first trial." .

As in the first trial, Han again denied the prosecution's indictment.

The defense attorney emphasized, "During the urine collection process at the Suwon Probation Station, the paper cup was dropped and the contents of the paper cup were contaminated, so we cannot accept the drug-positive urine test result." "All other drug tests came out negative."

Han was previously charged with smoking marijuana and was sentenced to three years in prison and four years of probation in September 2017.

Han was again charged with administering methamphetamine at a Buddhist statue in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, in early June 2020, during the probation period.

The trial court said, "The probation officer accompanying Mr. Han did not hear the sound of the paper cup being dropped, and stated that there were no abnormalities such as traces of the paper cup falling into the water. I can't," he was sentenced to prison.

Han's second trial is due on the 29th of this month.
