As a base for taxi drivers, voice phishing scammers have been arrested one after another and are attracting attention.

Taxi driver A was contacted by a police officer investigating voice phishing in February, and he learned that the passenger he had picked up in Siheung about a month ago was a voice phishing cash collection book.

The next day, Mr. A was called and picked up a passenger in Siheung.

He was the very passenger I had a month ago.

In response, Mr. A pretended to make an appointment with an acquaintance and called 112 and asked, 'Brother, where should we have lunch?

After realizing that it was a crime report, the police identified the location of the taxi and dispatched the highway patrol to arrest the collection plan.

In Suwon and Pyeongtaek, taxi drivers also saw strange behavior of passengers who kept in touch with someone while changing destinations or saying, 'You have to wait about 30 minutes to collect money'.

The police selected them as 'phishing keepers' and presented them with a certificate of commendation.
