A 20-year-old man who assaulted the victim indiscriminately was sentenced to probation in prison because even attempted sexual assault was not enough.

According to the legal community today (8th), the 11th Criminal Settlement Section of the Uijeongbu District Court sentenced a man in his 20s who was charged with attempted rape and special injury to 2 years and 6 months in prison and 4 years of probation.

In addition, he ordered 40 hours of sexual violence treatment lectures and employment restrictions for children and youth-related organizations and welfare facilities for the disabled for four years each.

Mr. A was drinking with his acquaintances at a motel in northern Gyeonggi Province in July of last year, and when he and victim B were left alone, he attempted to sexually assault him.

Mr. A tried to rape Mr. B after suppressing Mr. B from resisting, but Mr. B slapped Mr. A on the cheek and shouted, and it was only an attempt.

After that, Mr. A started to assault Mr. B indiscriminately because he was angry with Mr. B.

Mr. A, who hit Mr. B's face several times with his fist, continued to assault Mr. B's words, "Please help me." In the end, Mr. B hit Mr. B's head several times with a pig's foot bone nearby.

In the end, A was handed over to trial on charges of attempted rape and special injury.

The court pointed out, "The defendant tried to rape the victim and failed in his attempt, and was so outraged that the crime was not light, such as hitting the victim with a dangerous object and inflicting injury that requires treatment."

However, he said, "The sentence was decided by comprehensively considering all the conditions of the sentencing, such as the accused confessing and reflecting on the crime, the fact that he was a first-time offender, the point of an agreement with the victim, etc. was sentenced to 4 years of probation.
