Today (8th) around 1:30 am, a helicopter (S-92) belonging to the Namhae Regional Maritime Police Agency's aviation unit crashed 321 km southwest of Marado, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do.



Of the four crew members on board the helicopter, two were killed and one was missing.



One other person was rescued and is said to be in a non-life-threatening condition.



The helicopter crashed while trying to head for Busan after take-off after disembarking six rescuers from the Coast Guard ship 3012.



The patrol vessel 3012 was moving at sea to search for 'Kyoto-1', which was reported to have been distressed in Taiwan waters yesterday (7th).



The Coast Guard has also requested cooperation from related agencies, such as the Navy, to find the missing flight crew members.
