The forestry authorities, which switched to the night forest fire response system, said that they succeeded in catching the main fire a little while ago by putting 700 firefighters on the scene overnight.
Accordingly, the forestry authorities also lifted the '3rd stage of forest fire response' issued yesterday (5th) at 7 pm.
One vacant house and two warehouses were burned and 120 hectares of forest were lost in the wildfire, but there were no casualties.
