A 40-year-old mother who murdered her 8-year-old son with a developmental disability on the day of his elementary school entrance ceremony pleaded guilty to all charges at the first trial.

At the first trial of Mr. A (41)'s murder charge, which was held today (6th) at the hearing of the 11th division of the Suwon District Court (Chief Judge Shin Jin-woo), Mr. A said, "I admit the charges."

Person A was arrested and charged with suffocating and killing her son B (8), who was sleeping at his residence in Jangan-gu, Suwon-si, around 4 a.m. on the 2nd of last month.

On the afternoon of the day of the incident, the police were dispatched to the police after receiving a report from the family of A that "there was no contact with the brother" and arrested Mr. A, who was with the deceased group B.

As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that Mr. A killed Group B because of the burden of raising the group B with a disability and tried to make an extreme choice himself.

A, a single mother, raised group B in a semi-basement rent room and lived on the basic living allowance.

Mr. A, who appeared in court, sobbed with his head bowed throughout the trial.

Previously, Mr. A submitted an application for a public participation trial on the 24th of last month, but his lawyer withdrew it, saying, "It was submitted by mistake."
