Controversy has arisen after claiming that a grandfather in his 80s who visited the ward office received an insulting note from an employee.

On a note that appears to have been handwritten, it was written, 'You can't hear me well now, come with your girlfriend or your child'.

These are photos posted on social media and online communities.

The netizen who uploaded the photo claimed, 'My grandfather, who is over 80 years old, visited the ward office to receive basic pension advice, and the ward office staff gave this note to a person who was deaf and blind, saying that he could not talk.

The authenticity of the message has yet to be confirmed.

Netizens pointed out that the employee's choice of words was inappropriate, saying, 'It is upsetting to think that an old man must have come with such a note.'

Some people even commented, 'Isn't it because her grandfather used the word girlfriend first, so her staff wrote it that way?'

To this, most netizens countered, 'Even if her grandfather used it, the staff should not have been that small.'
