Looking at the actual public official property disclosure details, the ratio of multi-homeowners among high-ranking public officials in the central government decreased from 31.6% two years ago. This year, it decreased significantly to 16.4%.

Eight out of 10 high-ranking public officials chose the metropolitan area when the coaching team analyzed the area with the so-called 'smart house' based on the public official's real estate property details.



The ratio of houses in the metropolitan area was 81.4%, with the 3rd district of Gangnam in Seoul having a high proportion.



Within Seoul, Seocho 25.6%, Gangnam 19.8%, Songpa 12.9%, Yongsan 5.6%, and Yangcheon 4% were in order.



Only 6.8% of high-ranking public officials owned a house in Sejong, where most central government offices are located.



Among the multi-family dwellers, public officials who owned houses in the metropolitan area and Sejong City sold their houses in Sejong.



All 12 people, including Lee Tae-han, senior presidential secretary for social affairs, Baek Il-hyeon, head of the government affairs evaluation office in the Office of Government Policy Coordination, and Park Gye-ok, a standing member of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, all sold apartments in Sejong City and left an apartment in the metropolitan area.

Even high-ranking multi-housing officials who endured to the end despite strong recommendations, had a clear share of houses in the metropolitan area.



76.4% were concentrated in metropolitan areas such as Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, which is an increase from two years ago.



In Seoul, which has the largest number, the proportion of public officials was highest in the order of Seocho, Gangnam, Songpa, Yongsan, and Mapo.



The total real estate assets of public officials in the central government this year were 743.8 billion won, up 36% from two years ago, and the average real estate assets this year were 670 million won, up 36.5% from two years ago.
