It has been confirmed that two men and women in their 30s who disappeared in December last year after being investigated by the prosecution for murdering their husbands in a valley in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province are currently banned from leaving the country.

According to the legal community today (4th), it is known that the prosecution banned the departure of Lee Eun-hae (31, female) and Jo Hyeon-soo (30), who were accused of murder and attempted murder on the 30th of last month, before they publicly wanted them.

Prosecutors confirmed that there was no record of them going abroad after they fled, and it is said that they took the action to withdraw money through the Ministry of Justice.

The time when Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho disappeared was on December 14, last year, the day of the second prosecution investigation.

They appeared at the prosecution the day before their escape and were investigated for a long time as suspects, but it is said that they completely denied the allegations, including murder.

They judged that the evidence secured by the prosecution in the first investigation was not serious, so they did not appear in the second investigation.

Prosecutors are presuming that if they did not smuggle overseas, they would be living in flight in Korea.

However, it is said that they have not used their credit card or cell phone for 4 months after disappearing, leading to a so-called 'ghost life' and continuing their escape.

A veteran police officer from the powerful team said, "If you hide in a downtown officetel and don't come out, you don't even know the neighbors who live next door.

The possibility of having a helper is raised in that it is not easy to escape for a long time without revealing the card usage history or hospital medical records.

In fact, Choi Kyu-ho, 75, former superintendent of Jeonbuk-do, who escaped in 2010 while being investigated for bribery and was arrested eight years later, avoided a long-term pursuit with the help of his younger brother.

Another police officer said, "Even if you don't know about one or two months, if you've been escaping for more than three months, you must have a helper."

After being wanted on the 30th of last month, until recently, there have been frequent reports from the prosecution, but it is said that there is no decisive clue.

Most of them were speculative, saying, "I saw someone similar to Mr. Lee or Mr. Cho on the street."

Since the public wanted, various suspicions related to Mr. Lee are also spreading online.

It is reported that two other men who had been dating Lee in the past also died mysteriously in a traffic accident or snorkeling accident in Incheon and Pattaya, Thailand in 2010 and 2014, respectively.

There were also suspicions that Lee and Cho had worked in the past related to prostitution.

In an interview with a YouTuber in December 2020, a woman who claimed to be Jo's ex-girlfriend also made a claim to the effect that she witnessed Lee and Jo's attempted murders at a fishing site in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, in 2019.

Lee and Cho are accused of killing Lee's husband, A (age 39 at the time of death), in Yongso Valley in Gapyeong-gun around 8:24 pm on June 30, 2019.

Prosecutors believe that they killed Mr. A, who is not good at swimming, because he made him dive in a valley and did not rescue him.

Prosecutors determined that Jo and In-yi, who are lovers, committed the crime for 800 million won in life insurance in her husband's name.

Previously, in February and May of the same year, they are also accused of trying to kill A by eating food mixed with puffer fish blood or drowning it in a fishing spot.
