A man in his 30s who forcibly molested an elementary school student disguised as a delivery driver and a man in his 20s who induced it through random chat was arrested by the police.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Women's and Juvenile Crime Investigation Unit applied for an arrest warrant for a man in his 30s, B, and a man in his 20s, C, on charges of forcible molestation of a minor under the age of 13 and house trespassing under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.
On the afternoon of February 15, Mr. B entered a multi-family house in Seoul disguised as a delivery driver and forcibly molested an elementary school student who was alone in the house.
Prior to this, it was revealed that Mr. C was disguised as an adult woman in her random chatting app and actually induced the crime by asking Mr. B to 'Let's play a sex crime situation'.
While the arrest warrant for Mr. C has already been issued, the interrogation of the suspect before the arrest of Mr. B was held at the Seoul Central District Court this morning.
Whether or not to arrest Mr. B is expected to be decided tonight at the earliest.
